Over mij / ons:	Augustus Lito Narag is a graduate of Master of Arts in Public Administration (2010), with a bachelor degree in Public Administration (2004) and Political Science (2005). He is currently connected with the Department of Health through the Bureau of International Health Cooperation as a Site Implementation Coordinator. He is assigned at Center for Health Development- Cagayan Valley. He Prior his stint to the Regional Health Office, he had an opportunity to take part in the international program/ internship of EarthCorps, a not-for-profit organization in Seattle, Washington, dedicated to train young leaders across the world on environmental restoration and leadership service. During his internship, he was able to work with young Americans and his counterparts from the other parts of the world on actual environmental restoration of a forest, wildlife areas, streams, marsh, to name a few. His superb professionalism and dedication to service enabled him to continue his internship to organization such as the iLEAP: The Center for Critical Service (Seattle, Washington). He was able to assist Mr. Britt Yamamoto, Executive Director, to prepare and finalize the logistical arrangements of its annual leadership program. Mr. Narag was able to put together the welcome packet for the incoming participants. He soon crossed over to the other parts of USA, to be one of the Staff Naturalists of Ferry Beach Ecology School. This school offers a residential program to middle schoolers on environmental education, giving opportunities for students to learn about the environment and how it works through hand-s on activities. The school believes in learning by doing pedagogy. Also, he also had an opportunity to work with the biggest environmental non-governmental organization in Massachusetts. He specifically worked with Belmont Education Center and Wildlife Sanctuary. He taught young kids on natural history and basics on environmental science. Upon his return to the Philippines, he committed to share his knowledge and skills to others. He immediately took a part-time stint with Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines and eventually fully employed with the Department of Health. Having teaching as his second nature, he pursued his well-loved profession as a part-time instructor with Cagayan State University. As the semester of 2011-2012 is about to kick-in, he looks forward sharing his passion and knowledge to students, hoping he could inspire one student to make better in his life and empower himself to be the best he could be!
