| Over mij / ons: | Mrs.B.Mary Indira is the Managing Trustee of SAVE TRUST, Guntur. It is a pioneering organization, committed to help the poor and the downtrodden. SAVE Trust, through her constant guidance and visionary approach for the last few of years, deeply involved in the process of social engineering at the grassroot level. She is aiming at empowerment of the underprivileged sections of the society with particular reference to women she has been able to successfully implement development programmes that address poverty eradication, skills training, empowerment of parents of child labour, promotion of women self help groups, legal awareness, counseling for adolescent girls. She holds a bachelor degree in arts and she is actively involved in social work. And she tuned her skills over the years, through regular interaction with individuals, communities, government authorities, donors and mass media. With rich exposure in the field of rural development she has been able to understand and address the needs of the targeted communities. Her significant contributions to the society have been widely recognized and appreciated by various organizations and received best ngo award from the District Administration, Guntur for outstanding service rendered in implementation of Child Labour Special School and also received Mementos from various dignitaries like Hon'ble Minister, Member of Legislative Assembly, Member of Legislative Council and also received Certificate from Guntur Mayor and other dignitaries. |
