YEAH! TWO PROJECTS REALIZED!

September ended with a fantastic 1%EVENT and October starts with the great news that two projects are realized!

‘Sla je Slag in Burundi’ (Beat it in Burundi) is a project that wants to buy drums to give music lessons to vulnerable children and youth. Through these lessons, information is given about aids and the themes ‘Health and Hygiene’ and ‘Peace and Reconcilation’.

The kids in Malawi can loan bicycles because the project Leenfietsen (Loan Bicycles) is realized. The children that have to go to a secondary school that’s over 12 kilometers away, can borrow a bicycle. That way they don’t have to walk the whole distance. The money that has been raised, will be used to finance the bicycles.
